Each school day begins when students check their class schedule and join their digital classrooms by logging into their Student Hub. This centralized platform provides all the resources students need at their fingertips.
Each online course is brought to life by one of our expert teachers, who each delivers engaging classes in a virtual learning environment to give our students the best understanding of the subject. Learning goes beyond textbooks with immersive learning experiences through VR/AR.
Each live class is 45 minutes long and is filled with a range of activities that focus on collaboration, connection, discussion, debate, and interaction between students and teachers. These may include breakout rooms for group work, online quizzes to test knowledge, and lots of opportunities to participate in a virtual class by typing or talking.
We offer various class formats to enhance student learning and consolidated understanding. Some classes introduce new concepts to students, while others explore deeper into specific topics. This effective, optimized learning model helps students develop a comprehensive understanding of each subject while meeting their unique pace and needs.
After each class, a complete class recording is uploaded to our class library, along with all the school day’s resources. Students can revisit these materials at any time to reinforce their learning, supporting the personalized schedule needs they may have.

Emma Crosby
Leader of Learning Science
Emma teaches science to our brilliant Year 7 and 9 students, as well as GCSE and A Level Biology. After completing her degree in Biology, she volunteered in various schools and enrolled in a teacher and leadership training programme. She has over 12 years of experience teaching science, but it was as an English teacher in Vietnam that she found her love for online learning. Outside the virtual classroom, she enjoys dog walks in the countryside, craft projects, and spending time with her family.
Leticia Lawrence
Leader of Learning Business and Economics
Leticia is our Leader of Learning for business and economics. She embarked into teaching after completing her PGCE in Business and Economics and has now been a teacher for over 10 years. She also holds a BA Hons in Marketing and Advertising and has a strong passion for literature, art, movies, culture and keeping up to date with business trends.
Eva Snape
Head of Faculty – English
As our Head of the English Faculty, Eva leads a team of passionate teachers. She has over 14 years of experience in teaching and managing English curricula, as well as coaching other educators. An advocate for flexible learning, Eva is driven by King’s InterHigh’s mission to provide excellent education that works for all. When she’s not teaching or sharing her passion for language and literature with students, she enjoys spending time in nature with her three children.
Farhan Ahmed
Leader of Learning Business and Economics
Farhan is one of our Leaders of Learning for business and Economics. With a degree in Economics and over five years of business experience in the field, he brings valuable insights and expertise to the classroom. His goal is to cultivate critical thinking and analytical skills, empowering students to excel in the ever-evolving world of business. Using interactive lessons and practical real-world examples, he aims to equip students with a deep understanding of economic principles and entrepreneurial concepts.
Callum Robertson
Leader of Learning for Biology
Callum Robertson is our Leader of Learning for biology. He holds a PGCE and a BSc in Biology and Psychology and has over 17 years of experience teaching science and maths both in South Africa and the UK. Callum believes teaching is primarily about relationships; he advocates a holistic approach to education, allowing ‘children to be children’. He is committed to nurturing genuine bonds with his students and loves to see young people enjoy a mutual fascination for biology.
Ben Tipton
Deputy Head of English
Ben Tipton is our Deputy Head of English. Over the last decade, he has been teaching English to students all over the world, from South Korea to Colombia and across the UK. Ben is passionate about using the transformative power of language and communication to enrich lives and promote positive mental health. There is no such thing as failure in his lessons — only new opportunities to learn, improve and develop a deeper passion for the subject.
